It'd be nice if all races got some new face options. Tired of seeing the same 2 miqo'te/Au ra running around.

That's because bodytype changes like that are effectively a newly added race.I think instead of just not adding anymore races, they should add "subraces" kinda like wow did and just make smaller/cuter or other versions of races we already have. That way they don't have to change anything and people can enjoy different versions- I know this will never happen lol but I wish

I agree. They need longer necks.First I'll say this is not a jab at Elezen players, y'all just deserve better quality.
Ill be Frank, the Elezen race has a lot of issues. The most common complaints are that their heads are way too small and their walking animations are stiff. In most other games, elves are insanely popular but in FFXIV they aren't because they look really awkward. There's also a lack of face options compared to other races.
Some might say their small heads are a racial trait. Look at their proportions in the concept art, their small heads are absolutely not a racial trait.
With the dev team wanting to stop with adding more races, I was wondering if it would be possible to update older races, especially elezen. Making their heads a little bigger, adding more varied faces and adding mocap animation shouldn't be too much of a problem I think.
Just give me a shoulder slider and I am fine.
I'm tired of being told to wait for post-patches and expansions for fixes and increased healing requirements that are never coming. Healers are not fun in all forms of content like all jobs should be, they're replaced by tanks and dps due to low healing requirements and their dps kit is small for 0 reason, when in the past we had more options and handled things just fine. I refuse to play healer in roulette come DT. I refuse to heal EXs, I refuse to go into Savage, and I am boycotting Ultimate.

Proportions are likely to stay as they are, but appearance will likely see an improvement around 7.0
This. It's demoralizing how terrible a lot of chest pieces look on Elezen because of their awful shoulders. And if you main a physical-ranged DPS (like me), this is even more demoralizing because so many pieces have that awkward one-shoulder pad that looks horrendous and off-balance on Elezen because of the proportions of their shoulders (T_T).

I agree. I find myself often limited in what my character can wear because some pieces look ugly on her. I always have to choose my glamours carefully in order to hide the proportions' flaws, and this doesn't always work. At first, I thought all tall races had the shoulders issue and that I just had to live with it. That was until this one time I tried a chest piece out on my character and cringed at how it looked around the shoulders, but then I saw that same piece on a female Viera and was like: 'Wait a minute. That actually looks good.' It was then that I realized the issue lied inherently within the Elezen models. For some reason, the shoulders part of chest pieces become big on Elezen, and this becomes even more noticeable with shoulder pads. It's why one-shoulder pads are especially bad. They accentuate this flaw and throw the whole aesthetic off balance.

I agree; that is why I said in the post you quoted from that it would be preferable if a disguise were unnecessary.
Less neck would be nice. Also I think Roes are more in need. They both need changes.
