What happened to venture crate drops?

It's just rng, quick Ventures are the go to if you want the highest chance to get them plus the gear that you get from them pays for the ventures lol.
2 days ago i've gotten 3 Venture Coffers from 1 set of quick ventures but i pay for all retainers aswell.

I'm not so sure it's just RNG. RNG would account for drops occurring once every 5-10 ventures or so. It would not account for this sort of drop rate, which was consistent for MONTHS, to suddenly drop to ZERO and stay that way going on for a month now. It would be interesting to compile drop rates for various characters across different servers and see if there is a trend. I wonder if it is possible for drop rates to be tuned according to supply for a given server.

mine drop often enough, seems to go in phases, and thankfully, less Alphas than there used to be and only 1 bom boku this week...

so I would day, havent noticed a huge difference in getting the crates (I could do with less metallic orange though)

Yeah atm as i need all of them for the patch to sort around gear from my usually not used retainers im on 10 and sent them all the time, but its like 1/100 now or even less... and IF i get one its usually a green or red dye lol

They used to bring so much nice stuff but lately its mostly trash... remember when they brought us tons of housing walls? lol

Hope they add pure white and black dyes elsewhere, pain in the ass to get and rarely get them from retainers anymore...

Yep. I usually sell what dyes I get in game and buy Jet Blacks and Pure Whites from the Mogstation. To me, it's worth spending a few dollars every now and then while making almost a mil per dye drop in game.

Unless you've switched out/removed gear on your retainers so their item level has dropped recently, it really is just RNG. Otherwise we'd all be seeing the same problem. RNG seeds in this game can be terrible at times.

If you did swap out gear, make sure your DoL aren't below 530 and DoM/DoW below 545. Those seemed to be the points where I started getting coffers to drop this expansion, though the correct ilvl could be slightly lower.

My retainers have pactmaker's gear. They are all mid 580s. RNG can't account for this kind of change. It can account for variations of 1-10 ventures per crate drop over long periods but not a sudden switch to ZERO for a whole month.

I have just two retainers and when I frequently send them out I get one every 1-2 weeks.

My wife sends both of hers out very frequently and she has literally never gotten one. Which is bizarre as they can do their max level field quests.

Not sure if the RNG gods are just unkind or if it's more rare or if something like ilvl affects the RNG.
