What happened to venture crate drops?

I run 3 of my retainers on quick ex. all the time. I have been getting 3-7 per week last few months. I didnt get crates tho until they were level 90.

One week my retainer brought me back 7-9 coffers. Another week they only brought me 1.

Not sure what else other than RNG trying to be funny at times & ends up not working in our favor.

Maybe they’ve been ninja nerfing it for real, but there are very little ways to know this for sure. /shrug

I get one around once a week on eight retainers, so they do exist but rare. On a good note, I'm no longer getting Stuffed Alphas or Stuffed Bom Bokos every other venture.

I get them maybe 5 - 7 times a week, more or less.

I guess OP need to have less...crate expectations...

I have just two retainers and when I frequently send them out I get one every 1-2 weeks.

My wife sends both of hers out very frequently and she has literally never gotten one. Which is bizarre as they can do their max level field quests.

Not sure if the RNG gods are just unkind or if it's more rare or if something like ilvl affects the RNG.

I don't know about ilvl affecting the RNG rate but it does affect when the player will start getting them. All my retainers that had been getting them regularly at the end of Shadowbringers stopped getting them until I had them outfitted in level 89-90 gear. I've got a low level alt (72) that has all gathering classes at max level (GC provisioning missions OP for XP). She gets the coffers on her DoL retainers wearing the 560 gear (no melding). Her DoW retainers don't get them at all but then they're only level 72.

In my experience gear doesn't matter. I have an alt that has only a level 1 mainhand equipped to their retainers and they started getting venture coffers when the retainer reached 90. That seems to be the only stipulation.

So its not my imagination huh? It was unbearable and the reason i stopped having 5-6 subbed back then lol
