Why are there two seasons in a patch in PVP?

Essentially what Espon said. Problem is fundamentally SE caving too hard on the casuals and thus ripped any and all incentive aside some paltry borders for me to take Ranked seriously and attempt a Top 100 ranking on my DC.

I feel that mounts and glamours were wasted on the old system. That said, I have no problem with ranked having something better than adventurer plate frames. Just not glamours (full armor/weapon sets) and mounts again. I'd be okay with an exclusive headpiece and the like though, or earrings. Perhaps some accessories and the like would be feasible as well, like wings, parasols, etc, or even some super extra fancy titles. Those type of accessories should persist through regular gameplay instead of functioning as mounts at a base level. I really wish they would have designed those accessories for more than just gpose.
