Just finished a run of Aglaia as WHM, with 2 people throwing shade at me by thanking the SCH for doing all of the healing. Tell me you don’t play healer without telling me you don’t player healer, fellas.

I really want to get a PF for minimum item level, no Echo Orbonne. TGC won’t be the same since they nerfed him, but clicking it off does make the AOEs less cheesable again.

Honestly, that's the sort of thing I'd love to see organized more often; my FC's "Retro Raiders" crew mostly focuses on doing the proper-level runs of old savage and extreme stuff, not alliance raids. (Mostly because smaller parties are easier to organize.)

They are alright. I don't mind doing Orbonne when there is an incentive to do it, like with the moogle event. I specifically like the boss Orlando Bloom. I've always thought that fight was fun, it was more enjoyable when it first came out though. What I like about that raid series is that the bosses actually talk, it makes for a more enjoyable experience overall, in my opinion. The voiced dialogue I mean.

I'll confess that at least half of my love of the Ivalice raids is that they're not the freaking Crystal Tower yet again, whenever I get them in roulettes. I'm happy to see anything that isn't Crystal Tower turn up: Mhach, Ivalice, YoRHa, anything.

(The other half stems from my love of FF Tactics.)

I’ll admit I actually love the Ivalice raids, and I adore math robot. Both because that’s a unique mechanic, and because of his stupid adorable dance he’s doing as you return from the adds phase.

I have used Return many a time on the Ivalice raids at the end, when everyone's leaving. I'll go back and take screenshots in the early parts (I love the bridge into Orbonne), go look around for stuff like that...

Honestly, whoever did the design for the Orbonne Monastery approach really loved that scene. There are all kinds of lovingly-added little details you'd probably never spot just running across the bridge in the raid, that become easier to notice when you're standing around for 20 minutes doing screenshots.

Right now I don't mind getting it, but I think they will need to start separating the alliance raid roulette, similar to how dungeons are parted. There is the moogle event right now as incentive, but otherwise many players would prefer to get the quicker raids for their daily.

Back from a break, hit Raid roulette, got P1. Failed a couple mechs before getting back into my groove. Then the rest of the party other than the MT (I was OTing) wasn't paid attention and all died to a swing, so we tag teamed him from 30%. Felt awesome.

Running Prae in ruby red GARO gear (already hilarious due to the facial closeups that show zero expression) with someone in a J-Pop idol getup, a chocobo mascot suit, and a samurai. What a crew.

Working on leveling DRK, my last job to get to 90. Got A12N for raid roulette, and then Seat of Sacrifice for trial roulette immediately afterwards.

Apparently it was "mandatory tank LB3" night?

Do another Trial run and see if you can get the Final Day for a full hat trick.

Two separate instances today with WHM co-healers.

1. Level 50 Alliance Raid. See that they're using Cure and Cure II a lot to heal tiny bits missing. Notice them Cure I'ing me. Tell them that it's ok not to Cure I me, I'm fine. They do not listen.

2. Level 60 Trial. See that they're using Cure III to heal the tank, who is standing far away. Tell them that Cure III is an AOE heal. They do not listen. (I also think maybe they weren't using Lilies or Tetra but I can't be sure, I have no monkeys to sort through my damage log currently.)

I don't expect a reply when we're in combat but I'd hope you would stop, using Cure III at least, after noticing that the tank gains 0 health,,, Or maybe they assumed my lilies and tetra was them...

Had a very good SGE co-healer in my daily Ivalice raid so I'm not entirely unlucky.
