Or the accessibility of the content you can play?

I too wish we can all have a house of our own. But we cannot always have our cake and eat it too. And while it may not always be a good idea to move over to a less vibrant server, think of the benefits:

a) a fresh start
b) with more people like you guys moving over, the population grows and so too will more content options be open to people
c) Road to 80 buffs if the server is a New one so you can power level all your jobs really quickly.

This may sound like I am asking people to come to the server I hail at (and I am), but I am wondering, why complain about your woes when the solution is just right in front of you. It's not an ideal solution, but if you care that much about having your own property, then we'd be happy to have you over.
d) leaving your friends behind
e) crappy market economy with little to purchase unless you have the option of data center hopping and few to sell to because no one is going to waste time going to a world with a sparse selection on the marketboard.

a) Not everyone is interested in starting over when they're put a lot of effort into getting established where they are. People generally aren't fond of change when they've found their comfort zone.
b) Which means moving away from where there already are plenty of people for doing all content for the maybe there will be enough people to do content several months in the future.
c) Road to 80 is only helpful if you have more jobs you want to level to 80. It would be useless to someone like me.

I don't want to discourage people genuinely interested in transferring but I also want to be realistic about the situation. Unless someone is pretty much a solo player and they're desperate for a house, or they want that fresh start you mentioned for whatever reason, there's not much genuine incentive to transferring that isn't offset by a number of negatives.

OCE's problem is a group of OCE players went on a campaign to convince SE that opening a OCE data center would bring a lot of new OCE players to the game. So, where are those new players? Are they in the process of leveling through MSQ still (which would be very understandable) or did they never materialize?
