As you might guess from the first paragraph of this post, I was 2/3 of the way through the trial before I remembered "WAIT I'M NOT LEVEL 60 IN HERE, AND PALADIN HAS A MAGIC ROTATION AT LEVEL 80."

*sigh*

I had a similar experience back in stormblood after getting level 50 or below duties with my blm I decided to do normal raid roulette and got pepsi man. I never used Fire 4 and anything above 50 for 75% of the fight because I thought it was a 50 dungeon.

Oof. Black mage is also the worst possible job for "wait, which level am I synched to again?" Some jobs change up their core rotation every 10 levels or so; black mage seems to do so every 5-7 levels.

(I admittedly exaggerate for comedic effect here... but it's not that much of an exaggeration, either.)

BLM always has a 2nd rouletted tacked onto the DF one: rotation roulette.
I personally always found it quite refreshing and gives me something to pay attention to during roulettes but I know a lot of people who hated it to the point of dropping BLM. One day they'll learn just how much they missed out ...
