Why the limit on Aquariums?

It's part of what makes a large special; same deal with number of NPCs, mannequins (I think), garden plots. Larges should have more than Smalls because, well, they're large.

If Small gets 6, do they also increase M and L limits? Or do they just make all houses have the same limits regardless of size? What about the limit of furnishings?

It makes a lot of potential for more screaming/complaining in the already noisy housing situation.



That said, there might be a solution to just allow, say "10 SPECIAL THINGS", which include all of the above. So if you want 10 aquariums, ok, but you won't have any slots for a garden.

I get what you're saying, and that's exactly what I'm protesting. With the housing crisis, I think these limitations are ridiculous. Your proposal is interesting, and without deep thought, I'm not directly opposed, but also, remember that what you are proposing does not affect apartments that cannot have gardens.

Honestly, the only limit should be the limit on the number of items, not the type. Period.

I'm OK with a limit on the number of items based on size...but limiting the TYPE of items is just not OK.

If they could fix the housing issue, and make it so that anyone could have a Large house if they could afford it, then fine, I can be on-board with that. But that's not the case.

I honestly think it's the best solution (like you said without deep thought on it). My FC Large has an aquarium basement, and we would love like, 4-6 more as we can only effectively use 1/2 the basement. We don't really care about gardens outside or being able to have more than 1 of each kind of NPC, so it feels wasted somewhat.
