New Moonfire Faire disappointing glamour

The usual stuff when any new glamour piece comes out.

Someone says something about liking the gender restrictions.
Someone gets their panties bent out of shape due to that comment.
Someone says something else about either of those.
One or both of the first two fly off the rails.
Thread derails into personal attacks that mods may or may not clean up at some point, or just close the thread.
People bring the popcorn and snacks and watch the fire burn.

I'm gonna be honest, I didn't even read the OP. I just found it odd, because this years event is pretty good, in my opinion. I quite like the outfit and the sandals will be great for a lot of glams (sandals and heels are my preference in this game). It's too bad, but I suppose a lot of people were spoiled on it and have been stewing.

This must be a USA type thinking - this game is made by Japanese people (which I am), and most of Asia and the Middle East and Latin America are pretty staunchly conservative in their views and social norms. So I guess good luck with eradicating or trying to eradicate traditional gender roles in the US, but thank god the rest of the world doesn't need to subscribe to such thoughts. Indeed, for the majority of the world I daresay the conservatives aren't the ones who need to tread lightly and it's a shame if they think they need to in the US. Everyone has a right to think however they like, regardless of idealogy. No one side is ever inherently right or wrong within such a subjective thing.

Those shorts look pretty awful, in my opinion. If it was made for both I wouldn't be complaining, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't use it. I'd like to see more short shorts, or shorts in general. Feminine stuff.

Various forms of LGBTQ+ identities are growing in acceptance all around the globe. People like you will be an embarrassing footnote in history.

Like I said, I'd wager the great majority of the world are traditional in their gender views, and I doubt non- traditional beliefs will ever overcome these views, especially outside the US or EU countries. As to conservatives or 'people like me' becoming footnotes to what is probably less than 10% of the world population, well - keep dreaming.
