I'm also a fan of gender restrictions.
This is a fantasy online game and it should stay that way.
Of course you can wear what you want, what you like...
But do you walk around as a man in real life in high heels, fishnet stockings and a bikini? Or another skimpy outfit?
There is no Alliance raid without a Hrothgar or male Viera wearing B2 stockings and shoes, or a maid outfit or some other ugly revealing outfit.
The same applies to female characters :-), who walk around in bikinis 24/7/365, even if it's snowing and doesn't fit into the game at all.
Has it ever occurred to these selfish people that not everyone wants their sexual orientation imposed on them?
That there are still people who want to play normally?
Certainly not.
Someone call the Forum Police! Because I wrote passive aggressively that DT looks not good. Oh how right I was!
Begging and pleading that this is /s because otherwise I'm gonna say some shit that's gonna get me banned for real lmaoI'm also a fan of gender restrictions.

The point was that a beach themed event has been real light on bikini parts in the past few years.
I get it. Players that have been here since 2013 have gotten several but thanks to Square's addiction to FOMO many are unobtainable without throwing down RL cash and the older ones are stupidly expensive off the market board. I'm also well aware that it's not to everybody's taste but then neither are the cropped pants.
Making event glamours a zero-sum game is not fair to those of us who had the temerity to not have played since 1.0.
The gender locked items would be better if they could use it to make better male glams. The pickings are slim as it is and most female glams opened up to male characters make you lool like a joke character, so unlocking gendered items really only has a one way benefit.

"We are what we pretend to be." How you chose to conduct yourself online says just as much (if not more so) about the nature of your character than your interactions in meat-space.
Ah yes tell me more about myself, just because I leave my genitals and sexuality out of this game, I am in real bad human beeing?
