Extreme Roulette would be good for game

It might not be good for the game, but it would be hilarious. To me at least.

Extreme trials are so wildly inconsistent in difficulty that a roulette would never get off the ground. The same reason that the Binding Coil isn't in Normal Raid Roulette.

Hard pass. Most trials have very specific mechanics and if you get dragged in having not done it before then it'll be wipes all around. The rewards wouldn't be good enough for nearly an hour of people learning the fight synced.

PF for extreme is the best way to go. The party knows what they've signed up for and would have read/watched the mechanics beforehand. Even for the MSQ that required you to do the Ifrit, Titan, Garuda extreme you can just drag in a level 90 to clear it.

No part of the MSQ requires clearing any Extreme fights. Only the Hard modes.

There are other problems as well.

"Minstrel's Ballad" duties do not have the (Extreme) tag, so new players are unaware they are extremes.

The (Extreme) duties in ARR are sidequests and many new players want them completed because they like to complete every quest. In the expansions, they don't have to complete the duty to complete a quest.

We should finally get a min ilvl roulette. It's not *that* hard anyway and people screwing up is fun! Nothing more boring than a run where nothing happens.

None of the EX fights in this game are remotely hard, we used to queue Titan EX every night for fun on JP servers (Way higher skill cap on JP so people dont play like bots)

I do min ilvl/no echo runs in PF. It's not about beating it. It's about progression and fun.
