Queues over 1k?

Yeah I figured there was a DDoS going on. Was running Qarn when all of a sudden my entire group DC'd, then I went to go get ice cream and there was a queue of 700.

Looks like it's okay now, queued to Jenova was 20.

It was posted on the Japanse forums that the servers are under a Ddos attack and that North American servers are going to be affected

thank god they gave us an update on the JP forums, as a NA player iam glad they didnt bother to give us a heads up that we're going to get affected, feels good to be ignored by the devs

They should totally just discontinue all non-Japanese servers at this point and have FFXIV just be Japan Only. They clearly only care for their home country where it doesnt take as long to give out information in their native language.

It's almost like it's faster for a Japanese company to push out a forum post in their native language, before it gets translated, checked, and posted by their localization teams. The English forum post went up 19 minutes after the JP one.

We were on the final boss of Orbonne Monastery. The game lagged for like 30 seconds, then it went back and everyone was DC'd and dead on the floor XD

I honestly wish they did limit XIV to JP only like they did with DQX. :/
