I beg of SE to give us entirely new companions in the new EXPAC
If need be leave the 'newer' ones like Graha and Estinien but pls...let Y'shtola, the Twins, Urianger and Thancred retire or something...I've had enough of them
This is our future. Our story.
They didn't. YOU assume they don't like anything else. I think logically and come to the conclusion that they may like something besides the story if they are still subscribed. This is a MMO, not a TV show
Before i finished EW i was spoiled that a tragic death would happen at the end. They meant Zenos... there are players that forgive him everything. Yeah i know.

Some people just can't handle endings because.... well because they end things. even more so when the ending doesn't agree with their own headcannon of what they thought should have happened instead.
the solution is to just move on and GET OVER YOURSELF. you'll feel much better when you do. stop pining over something that didn't agree with you cause there ain't jack you can do about it.
it's that or either just sit there and cry harder.
Will put you on ignore if you can't form a logical argument but argue nonetheless
I think the tragic death was ahewann consudering hes the only male au ra who hasnt been treated like a joke by the writers...but he gets eaten...when we were 5 steps from attacking the blasphemy. We coulda done something but god forbid they have to animate unique attacks based on player class. They didn't. YOU assume they don't like anything else. Ah makes sense. I thought it wasn't him since there is still a lot of stuff after that, so i didn't consider it to be during the final parts of the game.I think the tragic death was ahewann consudering hes the only male au ra who hasnt been treated like a joke by the writers...but he gets eaten...when we were 5 steps from attacking the blasphemy. well yeah but nothing happens in the endgame to be sad about.
The scions have chernobyl-disaster-proof plot armor and you kill a guy they needlessly brought back when he shouldve stayed dead in STORMBLOOD.
They coulda meant Hydaelyn but anyone with a brain shouldve known we were going into EW to kill Zodiark and Hydaelyn so thats not spoilery or unexpected.
I'm with you there. There are players though that think otherwise. The fake-death in UT brought some to tears, even people that knew it was fake because of the symbol of sacrifice or something. Zenos 2nd death and then the flower field for Meteion. I read people talking about that last one as "the scene everyone cried or something". I think i thought: "How cheesy" or something.well yeah but nothing happens in the endgame to be sad about.

I really wish we killed Meteoin.I'm with you there. There are players though that think otherwise. "Oh shes a little girl" shes been alive for 12000 years and directly caused mass extinction events on an untold number of planets cut the umbilical and put a bullet in her head.
Like, great, she found hope. What happens when the one who gave her said hope dies? Another endsong? Could've killed her, give billions of dead justice but no...happy little bluebird flitting thru mor dhona.
I hate to break it to you but the villains are probably the best part of the story. If you enjoy vanilla stories where everything is happy the entire time that's on you, I personally prefer the opposite and would rather be put on the edge of my seat by a hero almost losing it all (Stranger Things season 4 finale is a great example of this).Yes Im sure loads of players wouldve loved to have the guy who roofied you and violated your unconscious body in lv83 quest to be a party member, because that makes sense.
"Oh but redemption" no. It was bad enough we didnt get to kill the chick who poisoned us in hw, we dont need to let more wastes of life live. We already let Gaius and Fordola walk around happy as can be, Im sick of letting villains live.
Should have killed off the Scions so we can start fresh in 7.0 with new companions too. I saw them being resurrected from the start and it completely killed my enjoyment of the last few scenes.I really wish we killed Meteoin.

So? I don't see how your post relates to the quote. XiRon was simply argueing that Zenos shouldn't be forgiven. Since ShB the writing teams seems to like redemption stories... or rather telling us that the mass murderers aren't that bad. I don't see any claim in his post that the villians should be removed, are less or equal as interesting as the protagonist or anything like that. Please explain.I hate to break it to you but the villains are probably the best part of the story.
