Exclusive Items and Items forgotten in the Eorzea Database

The Korean and Chinese mogstation items are exclusive because SE has nothing to do with them as SE has stated before they contract the game out and the Chinese and Korean game markets are some of the worst when it comes to over monetization. They are constantly creating items to sell rather than to earn which is why their game shops have much more junk in them then everyone else's. And frankly I hope it stays over there because the rest of the markets are real shady and we do not need to add to it.

I would rather SE add these items to mog tome events or give us another way to earn them in game, because if there is one thing we need more than new items to buy, it's goals and things to work toward, 2 things that are really lacking in most mmos these days, but esp ones from the Eastern markets.

Woefully incorrect. All items are made in house and sent to the regions. They have shown this a few times when giving interviews on the items. Yoshi-P and team also go to these regions for their Fan Fests. They are very involved still within those regions. The games are contracted out for money purposes, not for the items they add. All these items are the only ones not available to us. I have links to both mogstations and the only difference is they have besides what I showed in the post is they have the ability to purchase Code items (Primog Minion, Dalamud Minion, etc), 1.0 items since the game didn't exist in those regions during 1.0, and glamours from the crafting sets. All items (besides ones I've listed) are available in our regions just locked behind 1.0 or other, still available those that earned them! I have several friends who play FFXIV in these regions and they have given very good insight on how it works and what they get. I get updated all the time when something new arrives. It's not hard to actually research and find out the truth, rather then just assume and believe some random rumors.


And yes, they do get the Gold Saucer. They get all the same content we do (It is only graphically modified on occasion due to laws). They are only a few patches behind us. There is no actual weight to any of the other rumors or made up excuses people seem to believe.

On top of that, we won't get them for free. We'll always pay the same amount in order to keep it fair for all players. The only thing we've gotten for free is the Inferno Jacket as opposed to paying for it as they do in KR:



They sell for "crystal points" and if it's like Crysta here and it's 100 Crysta = 1.00 (or ~1000 KRW), current KRW to USD puts it at $13.46 - since I don't have a KR version account, I can't log in to look. If they offer it in the future not as a Mogtome reward, it'll probably go for $12 in our Mogstation. The fact that they offered it for free since their stance has been "if other regions pay, you will also pay for it as well" was surprising, but I'm guessing it's because it's a) not a cultural glamour and b) not very popular. I didn't even see it on the CN store, though they got the real life version it was modeled on, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Don't forget about the Fat Cat Earrings https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...m/b09d6f4c63f/. Not sure when they added the page but I know the item itself has been in since either 5.4 or 5.5. Although I suspect they'll just end up being some "community reward" for contests like the weapon design contests or those ones they have on their Twitch streams. Disappointing really, I wanted to get them.

Aye! There are also Carby earrings as well! I didn't touch on those because they are likely added to Moogle Tomestone, Community Events or Faux Hollows. The reason is the Demon Brick Earring has been in the database since 3.1! Now finally showing up Trying to get their attention on all the things!

The fat cat earrings can be stored in the armoire so I guess they will be obtainable from an event maybe.
