I still don't understand how people don't get and accept the fact that this game is gonna be a broken mess for the most part until 2.0 (hopefully..) and, unfortunately, the leveling mechanics are included with that...

I'm just thinking, soon as they add new class/new jobs, and then we'd have folks who finish level them the night they are released.
But I guess people don't like to travel through step A>B>C>D and prefer a giant step toward A>D while they live their busy busy lives.

I don't see what that has got to do with it, the game is seeing new additions and tweaks every patch to make the current version better.

I think its fair to say that most of us have learnt to accept and put up with the current version of 14, it doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement.

It's not like they have stopped developing for this version of the game. (there is still 7-9 months left before 2.0)

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the fans providing feedback in regards to what features they would like to see, but it's a bit naive to think that they would implement a feature such as level sync before adding such basic functions such as an AH/Mail Box, etc.., but who knows, I may be wrong. /shrug
