So since many people, myself included cannot get lucky enough to access the only feature of the game gated by a literal lottery your options are what?

• Wait for new servers to open up transfer and hope to win there(then lose and be forced to stay there or pay to transfer back)
• Pray SE adds more wards (highly doubtful)
• Make a shell fc and try for one of the plots there (thus defeating the purpose of there being separation of fc and personal wards but sure)

After more than half a year trying to get a house it just feels like we aren't being respected at all. Apartments are not the same as a house full stop.

Advocate for cleaning up the system as it is... 1 House 1 FC per DC per account enforced instead, you would see quite a bit more houses becoming vacant on all servers.... and you will hear complaints on people who run Submersible farms cross the entire DC's with their shell FC's and probably got something shady going on the side.

Well last lotto on my server until they:
- Open more wards (somewhat likely but that only adds 1 or 2 more lottos for thousands or more players)
- Add more wards (incredibly unlikely)

So we are now back to the only options for a house being:
-Abandon my current fc and make a shell fc to purchase a small plot (med and large is a pipedream which is a super dumb thing in and of itself)
-Leave my server and my current fc to go have a CHANCE with another lottery not even a guarantee I will get a house
-Wait and lament for multiple years for this system to keep getting band aid after band aid fix and maybe get a plot

Use an Alt for buying and decorating and open it that you can use it with your main. Theres no need to leave a FC.

Meaning if there were 36 wards in total, the Personal wards would be the other 18. It's like, made me wonder if they are planning to add new wards, but didn't have time/weren't prepared to implement that before they realized more personal wards were needed urgently, which is when they readjusted to 1-10 being FC only. idk. I think they really goofed up.

That still wont be doing enough. FC wards already had plenty of small houses available. There is a reason they only have 9 wards now. This means the extra 12 wards should be individuals again because thats where the real problem lies.

But even then, it should not be given away in 1 cycle to give a more equal chance. Some people will for example get a 1/2 chance, while the 2nd one was actualy someone with 2 bids, leaving the space open again. The next cycle such house gets massively competed in, giving the player a massive downside. 1 ward per cycle on that would be better since it makes such situation have far less impact (and this is enough for like 16 weeks of opportunities). In this case even if you would face that issue once, you still had 12 cycles in total and its unlikely all 12 have that.

Also for the concept. we can have 2 more subdivisions in each ward for the 2 other orientations.

My bet is most will wistfully looking back in few a lottery cycles to this opportunity they had and didnt take when all Houses are gone an no new ones are on the horizon.

Except most have been trying to take advantage and losing because there are not enough personal plots to meet demand. They're not going to look back wistfully. They're going to look back with anger and frustration that they didn't end up the winner.

If they were gunning with their own Alt FC only onto Medium or Larges sure. But even on Balmung there were plenty of Empyreums FC Plots with 0 Bids in the past. Smalls of course which are also gone now. But the opportunity was there. Especially with the free 30 days FC-Creation-Zero Bug. But if people only want to get a House on their main due to several reasons instead of taking a small jump through a hoop its on them for this decision they made. And they will regret it. Sooner or later.

But my guess is Square will just slam some more new DC and Worlds into the Regions for additional Plots before we see any real instanced Houses like ESO or others. Especially with the development of Crossworld and DC travelling in mind.
Thats probably their future proof solution. Want a house? Change the World/DC but you can still play with your friends on others.
