max level would still look terrible. The Radiant and Asphodelos sets don't match at all, nor do Radiant and Classical or Radiant and Panthean
As a dark knight I like to rock what I call my lucky tankini plate mail pats and gloves and a bikini top
If you wanted realistic non-immersion breaking gameplay, then you should never play anything online. Simple fact. Hiding glamour wont change that. Dosent matter if you hide every glamour to make everyone look exactly like they should for their role, someone will still do a funny dance or spam an emote and then you'll complain about hiding that. Then someone will have a silly macro and you'll scream for a way to hide all macros, ect ect. Chasing immersion in an online game is a fruitless battle. Learn to embrace the chaos or search elsewhere.
The only person in this game that is allowed to express themselves is me. The rest of you all are posers. /s
The ultimate karen. "I don't like how other people look and I should be able to change it."
Once I decried this vehemently but I wouldn't mind it if A) the base gear shown was either race default or B) job or class default. No showing of actual base items because lets face it, its usually piecemeal for anyone not your main and I glam that trainwreck because I don't want people seeing it.
Oh and this would only be a thing for instanced content. Otherwise they can just make a toggle that makes everyone using glamour prisms to just... Not be visible at all. Just you and a bunch of awkwardly dressed sprouts running around. Totally immersive.
And again the amount of people who cannot differentiate between customizing an in-game experience on your personal computer that NOBODY else will be affected by and real life repression, intolerance, and bigotry is saddening.
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?
