Alright. I have no idea what is wrong with people today, but I just got dismissed from frontline. Out of nowhere. I guess people were mad, we were losing pretty badly, and I was the target to take it out on?

I died ONE TIME in a team fight. One time. So while respawning I tabbed out for all of SECONDS to chat a message to a friend on discord, then I tabbed back into the game got on my mount, and started heading to the next objective, while moving I was dismissed. Again, SECONDS. It couldn't have been more than 10-20 (probably not even) seconds MAX the time I was standing in spawn. I was COMPLETELY active prior to this, I was healing people, I was attacking enemy players, trying to hold objectives, etc.. WHY?! All I did was send one message on discord while respawning!!

the AFK timer in PvP is only a minute or 2, so it's very easy to have run afoul of that. No one vote dismisses in Frontline.

There's NO WAY it was 2 minutes. Plus I was on my big gold saucer mount running towards an objective, so how could I have been afk kicked? This was between the time it gave me the respawn timer.

I'm at post cap.

Got into another one, people told me I had probably been kicked. Also, we won. So decent trade regardless.

The afk timer states in chat that you are afk and will be dismissed. I was kicked.

I've seen people try (and sometimes successfully) dismiss in Frontline but it is VERY rare. Happened maybe 3 or 4 times in the 2 years of me playing XIV, and the AFK timer is indeed a couple minutes only.
