Buddy the game does nothing to even suggest these requirements exist. None. Never. Ever. Not even once. You have to find out the hard way by ignorantly thinking you can get a house now that you got an FC, then seeing you have to rank up 6 whole ranks, then seeing you have to wait a whole month.

Yes it's buried in the FC tab among countless other things and you are not told by the FC npc anything about this little requirement, nor the 30 day wait time before you have the right to buy a house on top of this requirement.

So did your computer manufacturer tell you how to install things onto your PC, or did you figure that out yourself?

Here's the issue, my guy

They break up the critical information and spread it out between various sources, or don't explain it at all, and expect you to just figure it out. Any and all information pertaining to housing should either be given by a single NPC (the same you need to talk to to even access housing to begin with), or a tab should open like with most other things in the game when you unlock housing that goes over everything relevant to it in detail.

Not, secretly burying a portion of the information in the FC tab (not housing, FC TAB) forcing you to scroll through it to find the information that you don't know you even need to know to begin with.

And then having to talk to ANOTHER NPC who is hidden in wards and you're given no reason to talk to or even any indication they bloody exist.

It's completely ridiculous and obnoxious the way they handled presenting this information to the player. Just because you read the information on some third-party source somewhere or one of your friends told you doesn't make you smart my guy. Stop pretending you figured this out yourself.
