Given that there are 360 available large plots for FC wards on each server (12 wards * 6 L * 5 districts), there are sufficient large for every FC aiming for one for the first lottery round, and that's even assuming that every single one is going for a large.

However, chances of securing a large on the second round and later will be severely diminished as more FCs become eligible for lottery past the 30 days entry period so I do kind of feel that SE should reconsider the lottery entry period for FCs at least until 30 days after home world transfer is made available so as to be fair to all FCs, especially those who were waiting to transfer.

That is why they should make it 1 FC 1 House per DC.... long story short, and it would plug it for good, the shell FC's usually is other server people who just want to use this open exploit.

I know alot of people who is waiting to do such and made characters already there for the reason ot snatching the best they can get.... well knowingly knowing they got plenty of houses and FC's on other servers as well, that is empty.

That is the perfect solution, there IS people waiting to do that stunt for their own immoral reasons and not having the ability to see that it is wrong... been in places where I see now I am in lottery on this and that and that more on x amount of servers, it is a problem and it need to be stopped, right now SE got the power to do so.

With no news on this, at least none that I am aware of, it is safe to assume that they are really going ahead with this. They are really shuffling a significant number of (large) FC plots into the hands of re-resellers, RMTs and submarine-farmers. Housing was a huge draw for people to move over to the new worlds and now we are seeing hopes and dreams evaporate into thin air. In the absence of auto-demolition, it was THE hope for housing in EU. I can't believe they fucked it up to this degree.

The do need to fix the shortage but with SE track record if you keep pushing this what ya gonna end up with is If you are in a Fc you can't own a house cause you can have a room...

If they don't fix the problem of not enough houses the only band aid fixs left are

1-if yo u are in a FC (you can but a room) or have a apartment you can not own a home
2- If you own a home you can't join a fc

Basically dumb ideas just keep your wards Yoshi and add the option for Instance

If you truly want the housing wards to feel like neighbor hoods you gonna have to force people in there by removing all MB from main citys. remove all summing bells from cities and housing item...
That is the only way your gonna get people to hang in wards... right now log in any server go to limsa or go to ulda..or the new city

For the record.. I do NOT support any of these ideas....Im just showing what bad choices are left to be made.. And aswe know when it comesto Housing Se makes the worst choices

FYI stop giving housing items as rewards for world events!! Now you have servers that people can no longer buy apartments...So 0% of housing unless they are forced into a fc and since SE is pouring money into making the MSQ soloable seems to be there moving away from pushing people to Fc's

They haven't added any new incentive to joining a Fc in along time!!!!

Frankly, if they have not implemented true instanced housing for all areas, they have neither listened, learned nor paid any attention.

How about every 3 months all houses private and fc are demolished and we get to raffle them all again. This will reduce demand to the point where every one who wants a house can get one!

No new hardware or development time needed.
