I'm a big fan of the masks. There are some nice ones to be found. I've always like the Yew Halfmask, but it's too weak and a dated item now.

Would definitely like to see some more masks in the game, and not just wood ones. Give us some metal and bone based masks too, get really creative.

I really like the idea of bone masks. Kind-of like the Wyvern skull one in FFXI, except more options. This would be really neat.

Personally I'm not a huge fan of the mesails, which is why I want to see some more wooden masks. Maybe there could be more options but I think they fit for what you're asking and would like to see bone/wooden first.

Wow... that is REALLY odd statwise. It looks like it was made by the pre-yoshida team: It's mostly crafting stats, but only CRP, BSM, and ARM can use those. At least all three DoL can make use of the +20 gathering.

Yeah, I kind-of hate the crafting only gear myself sometimes - often times theres nothing similar in looks that's available for DoW/DoM. Raptor Jerkin is one in particular that I wish had a "of slaying" counterpart.

Either way, I personally don't like the look of the mesails, and as you pointed out they are geared towards crafters. With head materia being relatively junky, they're just not much of an option.

They're fine, though, we just need MOAR MASKS!

I love the wooden masks too and it would be great if there were more varities of masks.
They play a great role in gridanian story and it is sad how they seeme to be pushed aside and vanish slowly.
Mask + hood looks so nice.
