We definitely need more masculinity in these trying times....
I support you with my vote!

Great thread and firmly agreed! I've long wanted to see more focus on masculine aesthetics in this game that allow me to play a tall, muscular man with short hair and conventionally attractive facial features. With better faces and actual eyebrows Highlander men would very much be to my personal tastes.

    Agreed! x100

I have the only 'somewhat' manly midlander face on my character and even then it's not rugged enough.

Why can't I have chin-scruff with my beard?
Why does my character look so happy constantly?

Also, my characters body is way too slender and "boyish".

My chest is completely clean-shaved, which just looks weird in a game supposed to be based upon medieval themes.

Give me more bodyfat for christ sake! No man over the age of 10 has this kind of body.

I'm also so god damned tired of every MMORPG fall into the trap of making their protaganists in their early 20s instead of age 35+ which is usually the age when us men start to get those handsome features with a bit of crow's feat and more define lines which equals into a weathered 'experienced' look.

I am not against having the option to make a 'feminine pretty boy' but when that option is the ONLY OPTION, then it becomes a problem.

I would like to add that Gaius,Quintus or even Raubahn are a proof that they can do pretty decent manly faces, Gaius being my favorite one.

And I think that especially Gaius is perfect proof that a masculine face doesn't rely on being hairy. He has a masculine, traditionally handsome face that works without any hair and you'd never think "No beard, looks like a little boy".

Indeed. I like stubble (as my character will attest), or even beards on some characters, but by and large I think the facial features available through the character creator need to be such that you can design a masculine, traditionally handsome face, as you put it, even without one.
