Different Apartment Sizes

SE you wont do instant housing like we have suggested for 5 years+

Can you at lest make apartments upgradeable Start with a single room.. then move up to the size of a small house two floors.. then a medium 3 floors and finally the penthouse the size of the inside of a large...

I've done given up begging for a door in the GC for personal work shop and door for personal gardens

A few have suggested this as well, and I fully agree with this.

I would give up my neighborhood home in a heartbeat if I could get an "apartment/condo" equal in size as my home now.
I think they should offer even larger then L homes to make up for the lack of outdoor space. They should also add an indoor growing area with supplied "grow lights" for a garden and an attached room to enter a stable for chocobo training/color changes,xp.

I agree, if they wanna have apartments to be a decent alternative to Housing, the least they could to do is not make it smaller than a house and restrict player freedom and creativity, like you said I wouldn't mind it being an upgradeable feature which would yet another gil sink into the game for those that want it and makes it something to work towards as well. RNGues hates me, so I'll doubt I'll ever win the lottery not that I won't keep trying but the ONLY advantage Housing should have compared to Apartments is an outdoor feature, even then, one could argue about opening up gardening to be more of an indoor thing as well but that's a whole other story.
