"Fanboy is gaming jargon used to describe an individual that has gone beyond the point of being a PC or console game fan and, during online chats or discussions, shifts to defend the program at all costs, unable to take any criticism or acknowledge any shortcomings of the game or gaming console."
Issue is if you add instanced hosuing it HAS to be accomponying the ones we have now, otherwise the grand neighborhood burning would piss off people who spent the time already getting it, probably a gill reimbursment which would tank server economy.
which, having two different housing types would be a pain to double manage.
the team fucked up to begin with with how they started it, and are now beholden to that original sin.
Can you elaborate? How would it upset anyone exactly?Issue is if you add instanced hosuing it HAS to be accomponying the ones we have now, otherwise the grand neighborhood burning would piss off people who spent the time already getting it, probably a gill reimbursment which would tank server economy.

I have spent hours and hours myself clicking and bidding for a house and better plots and I'm STILL in this stupid fight to try and get a better plot. So I don't understand who this upsets exactly? The small percentage of people who get the house they want? Who to say they lose anything if we get instance housing? Why can't we have both?
The system is already double managed. Any housing interior, whether house or apt or FC room, is instanced.Issue is if you add instanced hosuing it HAS to be accomponying the ones we have now, otherwise the grand neighborhood burning would piss off people who spent the time already getting it, probably a gill reimbursment which would tank server economy.

They don't need to make sweeping changes to the entire system. They just need to improve what is offered through instanced housing.
there is a placement objects that is going to placed in the database, which also takes resources, if want instanced housing you will get housing where everything is pre set... player houses as it is now everything inside of them is already set and put down in various angles, which is stored on the server.
Running servers like this, is not something you can just do from your mothers basement or the likes, it is way more complext than that.
Explain island sanctuaries then. They said you can place building, choose materials, have minions running around. How the fuck is that not more of a server load?there is a placement objects that is going to placed in the database, which also takes resources, if want instanced housing you will get housing where everything is pre set... player houses as it is now everything inside of them is already set and put down in various angles, which is stored on the server.

It’s SE, not my mother’s basement. They announce that you can build your house, you should be able to do so. They are simply not allocating the required resources (financial, technical and human) to fix the problem. They CAN fix it though. Besides, as mentioned above, we now have islands coming up.
The amount of memory needed by stored item data is a tiny fraction of the memory used when loaded.there is a placement objects that is going to placed in the database, which also takes resources, if want instanced housing you will get housing where everything is pre set... player houses as it is now everything inside of them is already set and put down in various angles, which is stored on the server.

If stored data was the problem you proclaim it to be, games would be autodeleting characters after long periods of no use.
If stored data was a problem, SE would not be giving every character in the game an Island Sanctuary.
You can continue to make your bad arguments against instanced housing all you want but what's the point? None of us are asking for the ward housing you love so much to be removed. We're asking for a system that will let every player have access to large spaces to decorate as they wish and enjoy.
I do find it quite odd how they claim to not be able to do small instanced housing, but can somehow afford server space to give everyone an island the size of multiples zones for Island Sanctuary.
This multi BILLION dollar company needs to fix this! (years ago!!)
♥ MORE HIGH HEELS + INSTANCED HOUSING! ♥!
