Various capture the flag 8vs8 or 5vs5
The CC game mode is fun and good. But who wants to play this when rewards suck and MMR system is trash. This game has a huge boosting problem and now it's even worse. Even if there were no boosters, the people who went full NEET life mode in previous season will be so far ahead that no matter how good you are, you will never catch up.
They can do as many new game modes or different content they want, it will always die if they don't do anything with it. Better fix the current stuff before they waste more time doing new shit that will eventually just go in the same bucket.

I've been playing this game for around 9~ months now, and I would like to play/try the previous pvp mode "The Feast".
Currently, I am excited for the return of Rival Wings, it will be my first time playing it.
Besides the above, I would like a small scale Frontline with its own maps, maybe 10v10v10? And bring rewards worth grinding too.
I have mixed feelings regarding CC, especially with the top 100 rewards that are lacking imo.

I would like something that doesn't focus on ganging up on one person on the opposite team or a single playstyle so PvP can feel more diverse and fun.
How about we race to a certain item that can cause the other team to blow up? Trap doors, some poison potions to throw people off, maybe a DPS race on mobs/bosses with each time having their own to fight. Kinda like the alliance raids where 3 mobs pop up and each team has to go to their own locations to fight them.
I love the idea of capturing the flag someone mentioned. Maybe if a team is losing FAR TOO BADLY, a NPC or a mob of some sort comes and helps support the losing team in case things are far too unbalanced.
Maybe a soccer like game where you have to use abilities to hit a ball to a goal. We can swim so blitz ball would be an amazing feature!


welcome to online multiplayer games. There's always going to be boosting. It's up to the devs to reduce incentive to do so by making glams and mount available to everyone and not just top 100 and actually cracking down on ppl multi-char boosting. If they want to reward those ppl in the top at the end of a season, then just give then titles and maybe adventure plates but the moment you add an exclusive glamour or mount you will get rampant boosting as seen over the last 9 years pvp has been in this game.The CC game mode is fun and good. The battle pass is the right step in realizing that there are less ppl interested in pvp than in ultimate in this game. Most ppl don't care for pvp and only want the rewards in it and that is a fact.
I would like the feast back as well, but people tend to not like pure arena combat even though the feast did sortof kindof had an objective lol. Something similar to Alterac Valley from classic wow.

Capture the Flag (8v8) and King of the Hill (frontline based) come to my mind with that question.

UT-style Assault would probably be fun. It still involves a whole lot of killing, but generally speaking the defenders have to divide themselves up to protect multiple objectives and there's typically multiple ways for the attackers to clear each given phase. If the maps are large enough, Onslaught also might fit the bill, since it requires the teams to divide up in many cases.
Hidden Gorge already fits the bill in a lot of ways. There's always stuff that needs to be done, so it keeps teams split up and moving around instead of zerging in one big clump. They really should have just put more effort into Rival Wings, honestly.
