For better or worse...The Rain Nightclub even tomorrow is going to be quite the event

I'm not sure I'm getting this right, but I recently found a DJ stream of a club event, and it was... characters afking with a dance emote. And the DJ commenting on how much fun everyone was having (???).

To me, this felt as odd as when certain small houses from Mist were sold at a very high price because they were... the "closest to the beach" (????).

Note that I am an RPer, myself, but some things are a bit too confusing...

Yeah, that's club "rp". That's exactly how this event was going to go if the billboard didn't happen. Now it will be that plus trolls plus plain clothes gms.

Most of these club events are honestly boring. I been to places like Red Moon and other night clubs with people just sitting there not even talking. Is this what is considered fun a bunch of toons just dancing in one place for what reason. I don't really get these events at all.

My brain can't really comprehend it either, but if that's what people enjoy, then they can have at it.

People usually talk in whispers instead of out in the open in clubs.

Never got it either, maybe i am just a boomer but if i was wanted to dance around with a bunch of strangers with loud music i would go to a real club.

I am already planning to play on another DC. I figure all of crystal is going to pay the price in login mess. Maybe time to go back to my EU or OCE character for a night.

The only housing event I've visited that was actually fun was a Halloween haunted maze. Lots of creative jumping puzzles and very clever tricks involving floating objects.
