You'd be better off protesting in the public- not in a game where it won't make waves & only face trolls or anti-choice GMs.
Most People don't get on FF to bring irl issues into the game & bring others down- they play FF to get away from irl issues

This goes for anyone here- if you're one of those people who logs on & talks about your irl issues like FFXIV is a facebook platform, you suck & need to go touch grass.

I hate hearing peoples irl issues or politics in a game when I'm just trying to do a raid or decorate my house in FFXIV - I'm all for protesting for human rights/ pro-choice in public but not in a game where it means little. It has NOTHING to do with the game.

According to the OP this 'event' took place on Behemoth. Behemoth is a part of Primal, one of the North American data centers. So already you're wrong because North America includes more than just the United States. Canada and Mexico are also a part of NA.
Furthermore considering the fact that there is no South America data center we can assume that players from that region likely also play on NA data centers.
So calling any server "US based" is really ignorant.

I agree that abortion rights should be considered a basic human right. No one should be forced to have a forced birth.

However, this rule exists because if they don't do a blanket ban then it could cause major headaches. Better to just ban all political activism.

Abortion Rights shouldn't even be political as they should be a basic human right. A certain party, which failed to read their own book which gives instructions on how to safely perform an abortion, made it political because it's easy to advocate for a fetus as they have no opinions and it costs them nothing while hurting those they see beneath them.
