Not really because OP can't count or so it seems. 6.1 was released April 12th. 6.2 is scheduled for August 16th. That's 4 months or if you prefer exactly 17 weeks.

Am I the only one around here who stays subbed and plays every single day between patches?
I still enjoy old content, my houses, dailies/weeklies, gathering, crafting and making gil.

Except for the times when life's forced me to stop playing, I've remained subbed. Even if I don't play but once in a blue moon, having the option to log in at any time is worth the price of two coffees a month. That being said, I've been playing nearly every day since 5.3(ish). The game's got enough to do that I never lack for goals to work toward; only motivation to do it. When motivation's low, I RP or don't log in that day.




When the time comes to get another pet, I think I'm going to name it Grass.

If they keep adding two jobs per expansion, we probably will reach that point. That's part of what pushes the time further, continually adding to the list of weapons to be made and all the other related work, including balance.

It's funny how they said they will go back to normal schedule once COVID is over a few years ago.

Then in the live letter they announce that the patch cycle will be 4 months instead of 3.5.

And now it's 4.5 months after 6.1

COVID is most certainly not over. Which is why the schedule is the way it is IMO.

they will find a way. they are not smart people.
thing is ok get an extra month to it but give MORE content for this time. thing is we are not getting more but the same or less. we are by now get content for 3 month starched over 4.5 and by 7.0 i bet it be 6 month.
