I don't think it was meant to be disrespectful to player desires, if it was then that's sad- but I don't think that was the intention.

Though I do hope he realizes many expect multi-thousand / majority of items in the game slots given they've had real world experience with multi-thousand slot glamour systems (like WoW or GW2's).

As it is written, to me, one could think he is attempting to make a joke in good fun. However, I did not watch this livestream, so I don't know how it was said; the tone of the statement. I have zero context here.

could you please provide the data you are using to infer that the business area responsible for making and developing Final Fantasy 14 is making billions of dollars? I would be very interested in seeing this. I agree, Square Enix is a global company, but I would love to see the information you have on how much the FFXIV area is making that it can pull all this capital from you are saying they have and put it into development

People said 200 was enough, it clearly wasn't. Then suddenly 400 was the magic number. It clearly wasn't, either. Now 800 is fine? It's like a broken record at this point. We'll be right back in the same place in a year or so.

It's certainly a welcome change and I'm glad they're doing it, but they need to prioritize actually fixing the system eventually.

I wouldn't say the design is the greatest ofc, but folks need to stop treating the glamour chest like an alternate storage. I'd be willing to bet most folks don't even actually wear half the stuff they have in their dressers

I actually do use most of my stuff in one outfit idea or another that I have in there. I don't just store things in there. It's why my inventory, armory chest, and retainers are in the state they are in. I REALLY need to clear all that out... Anyway, yeah, I use most of it, and I can tell you right now, anybody who actively glams will find the storage space in it seriously lacking. Cash shop stuff, multiple duplicate pieces with different expensive dyes (I have like 4 different nails in there, actually maybe more), etc.. I also don't have enough glamour plates - I waste A LOT of gil with dyes in all of those. I wish the armoire could hold more stuff.

people also need to learn about the Calamity Salvage people. can likely dump a ton of their blue gear that they are keeping "just in case" and not knowing they can easily replace it if they REALLY wanted to use it again. I freed up a lot of space just doing that, though I filled it again fairly fast >.>
