SE: Open up Regional Travel for OCE PLEASE !

Note: this isn’t a thread of complaints, just a gameplay wishes and suggestion.

I a solo player who play early morning or late aest (midnight).

I do hope to be able to travel to jp or even na just to get some duties done.

As of now is fairly dead at thise timings. This character is an alt speaking behalf of my main. Xd.

only in our dreams. the dc travel thing turned out to be just for 'nearby' datacenters. One can only hope that it is just a test run in order to open travel between all dc but alas, that seems like a utopia

With patch 6.18 one can only travel between logical datacenters. Logical datacenters are physically on the same location. Travelling between physical datacenters may be possible in the future but not with patch 6.18. But maybe they will enable it one day.

They confirmed already that theoretically it is possible to have world-wide DC travel but they see possible problems due to the different play styles in each region.

Seriously, i play also on NA servers. And i see no differences between EU and NA. Only the timezone thing is really nasty. xD

Ohh, does NA now also used the positions macro for PF savage?

But I guess the biggest problem would be for JP.
I've heard that they can use the DF for savage raids and trails and they probably also do hunt's, special fates, relic area's, etc. Different then us western player's.

As opposed to disbanding because someone didn't use "their" macro or because someone didn't read the macro correctly, expecting it to be the "standard" one.

The trials and tribulations of Party Finder aside, yes, Cross-Region DC Travel should be enabled as soon as possible once they are certain it does not contain any bugs. Let us players worry about differences in playstyle, just give us the option. I would love to play with some of my out-of-game friends on the EU DC occasionally without having to maintain a second fully geared and levelled character over there.

Not quite. What actually happens is for example this: someone will be in the wrong clockspot. Usually a physranged or melee for some reason. Maybe be called out for it but the party adjusting to that person anyways. Then because of this, the party wipes and the person with the wrong clockspot complaining about the wipe/lack of uptime despite very likely causing it. Then either the party sucks it up, calls it prog making it al good and proceeds to wipe repeatedly at the same mechanic because of this person never learning OR people call it out, get called toxic for it and the party falls apart.

Crystal is kinda special I guess....
