To people who Que up and ignore objectives / call outs

Why? Do you genuinely enjoy losing 100% of the games you aren't being carried in? I understand mindlessly killing without any objective in Death Match game modes. But that does not exist in this game. Why do you que up, intentionally grief your own team by refusing to do the objectives and ignoring people making perfectly polite call outs?

You are actually griefing your team and should be banned for it. If "aiding the enemy" is a bannable offense for letting a teammate die in a dungeon, than throwing should be considered a bannable offense by the same logic.

I don't mind losing a game. I mind losing a game when my teammates throw. Or perhaps the joy you derive is from making your teammates who actually want to win upset. This kind of behavior should be reprimendable.

Me I'm just extremely tired of my win ratio consistently dropping because I seem to be constantly grouped with players who have no interest in winning while up against players that always do. Making me not want to play at all. I seem to just be having the worst possible luck for the past few weeks with the quality of players in matchmaking. And being a 24 party group there's virtually nothing I alone can do if my own teammates just flat out suck or refuse to play the objectives or are outright throwing hte match.

Aye. Sitting in spawn saying "Nice Job" while your teammates throw themselves at the enemy 1v5 over and over again is literally less harmful to the team than what they're doing because at least you're building ult charge. CC has exposed what a bunch of smooth brain soft heads a large chunk of this community really is.

I main Pali and DNC in PvP and have found two situations that ALWAYS happen and wish they didnt.

Pali: I stick to the crystal like glue and find my team mates off on the other side of the map chasing one BRD while im being 4v1 by FOTM jobs, tell them to get on the crystal? Ignored. Have them on the crystal and pop my limit break? They still cant seem to kill a single enemy even with the provided shield - They get steamrolled, or they seem to be auto attacking.

DNC: Enemy fully on crystal fully guarding, Announce LB, mark a primary target, pop LB with full team present then pop spin to win..... find my team mates running after the guy who popped free of the LB ignoring the ones on the crystal, i break out of spin to win early but while stuck in animation lock, get flattened by the other 4 enemies because my LB is beyond worthless even when a party knows what its doing.

    CC is not fun.

Yeah the overall quality of players have just drastically gone down, and the new pvp mode revamp was clearly not even remotely tested for Frontlines.

Considering the teams are randomized, there's no faction anymore where your Grand Company is the team you're always on so a meta forms where all the best players go to one Grand Company. So it should not be possible to lose this consistently, to this consistently be grouped with players who are either extremley bad or not trying, and against extremely good, well coordinated teams. I am convinced something fishy is going on.

I've also seen odd behavior lately, for example in Shatter and Onsal one team will just constantly gain points while barely if at all engaging with objectives or getting kills. Their points just rapidly raise inexplicably. It's baffling. Both teams can be killing them and they just keep going. If a team isn't taking objectives, or getting much kills, it defies all logic that their points will not only rise by much by rise so rapidly.

But knowing the wonderful PvP community of this game I would not be surprised if there are some secret discords somewhere where they have discovered some new esoteric exploits that will likely never be fixed, and of course when I even ask this question I will be gaslit heavily for even suggesting this may be possible.

Full teams of battle highs can skew things pretty quickly if it gets to that. Focusing on objectives for that kind of play is not even in their mindset.

Why does battle high even exist? It only benefits to team already leading and further tips the scales in their favor because to get the kills needed you would need to be outplaying the other teams by a large margin.

while battle highs do grant an advantage, killing battle high players nets higher reward comeback too, so the incentive is to gang up on them to eliminate them. that's why you see the messages in the chat regarding battle high player stuffs.

It used to gives alot of points from killing Battle High and Battle Fever players (Like 8 and 16 ponts?). But after it revamped, it doesn't give any bonus when killing them...

I often ignore them because they are made by people who have no idea how to play to win. Last time I did Seal Rock I had the same annoying Person in my team for 4 times in a row, who insisted u win by sitting at the nodes and avoid pvp. Needless to say we lost 4 times..

Because tunnel visioning the objective is the fastest way to lose
There's a reason why on the bell curve of skill, extremely low skilled players fail to stand on the crystal all the time, and extremely high skilled players also fail to stand on the crystal all the time
It's only the average/mediocre players who are obsessed with having full crystal uptime that constantly complain when their teammates are not suiciding one after another just to push the crystal
Can you lose a game by failing to do the objective? You bet, that's the only way to lose a game.
However you need to know when to stay on the crystal and when not to.
