    id say the Anima system = casual and I'd also say it's garbage. Maybe your version of casual isn't so bad Sephrick but what i see as casual in this game and what is commonly being requested is all trash and will murder this game. Somebody seriously posted just the other day each aytherite should only cost 1 anima... really? Lets get real here. A weaver should be able to complete the main story line? joke. 5 minute NM pops? Joke. I agree i dont want to wake up in the middle of night to get some claimed NM however 5 minutes repops are horrid. People crying because ifrit is too hard and its causing them too much stress.

    Nothing should be impossible but nothing should be 5 year old easy either... There needs to be travel for danger as well as a small time sink, some things need to take multiple tries to finish, Content needs to take time to further the longevity of the game or else everything will always be finished before the next bit of content comes out and it doesn't have to be that way.

    All of this dungeon search tool talk and everything instanced is taking this game in the wrong direction. There needs to be competition, not in all cases but some.

    I was waitin for that to come up, have you noticed how many people are done with new content already? now its just repeating the new dungeons over and over instead of the old ones over and over. I look at casual vs. hardcore simply as this: how much time does the person spend actually playing the game. No, i don't mean playing as "I was online for 9 hours" when 8 of those were just sitting in town, that to me is casual. Hardcore = "i was online for 9 hours killin a certain thing to attain the best drops" regardless of it being for sense of accomplishment or to brag about their epeens.

    What people tend to forget is that 1.x isn't an example of what the game will be like in 2.0.

    Things we get to do now only are intended to keep us occupied till 2.0's release. That's why every few months we get some new event to farm and materia melding to keep us busy when we're done with it. But once 2.0 hits most of the 1.x stuff will be removed or altered.

    I too think it's silly to request teleporting cost 1 anima, but I also think its silly to request to have to fight over content via claim wars. That's all XI was for the first few years -- waiting for a chance to play the game.

    Obviously SE has a handle on things. They have faith they can make this game successful or else they wouldn't have put it on life support.

    the speed at which this game moves is too quick and needs to be addressed. Time sinks are part of whats missing. i'm not sure if your agreeing or disagreeing.

    @ sephrick

    I think 2.0 is going to give the majority of us all what we want.. and thats a great game.. but i expect there to be some people who are currently playing this game to be VERY angry and disappointed, but those are also the crazy people talking about 1 anima cost for everything XD.
