Dream scenario: NieR Replicant trial crossover.

I'd be happy if they just gradually add some of the stuff they left on the table in as rewards via other means without doing another full blown crossover
similar to how the pod mount can just be purchased at the gold saucer
especially things that are technically kinda already in FFXIV like the Yorha Flight Unit, 9S outfit, Yorha Heavy Armor outfit, and Red Girl outfit

though I'd also like A2 and Kaine's outfits, and an Emil headpiece (really surprised we didn't get that), and heck all 5 sisters outfits from drakengard3

Also considering how much they mined FF Type-0 assets without much fanfare or acknowledgement (like with how many players I see using the "make it rain" hairstyle I'm sure there's sizable subsection of them that really enjoy it without ever knowing it's Sice's hairstyle from type-0) so I still have hopium that we could get some more Nier/Drakengard items at least but I extremely doubt we'll get another actual crossover event

I wouldn't mind that too much as long as we got the glams and whatnot. I'd kill for a Grimoire Weiss minion or Brother Nier's adult outfit. But I just don't see that type of stuff being added without a crossover event to tie it in with. The pods required no explanation, so just tossing them into the gold saucer wasn't a big deal. Replicant glams/minions however probably couldn't just be done like that. It would require at least a temporary event for it to not feel out of place.

Again as I pointed out there was ZERO fanfare or acknowledgment of the ff type-0 things that were recycled into ffxiv
which is hairstyles from almost the entire main cast and a crap ton of enemy models in Bozja and Zadnor

minions are already so all over the place that Grimoire Weiss shouldn't cause anyone to bat an eye
there's already an anthropomorphic book minion even Page 63

And gear styles that already exist in game run the gamut from fantasy to sci-fi to modern so nothing from any of the drakengard or nier games would look particularly out of place imo

I do agree that gear models already in the game for NPCs should be made available. Could easily add a glamour coffer to the second and third raids, at least.
