Alliance Raids and players not waiting for Cutscene Watchers

Did you ask first, or are you mad because they didn't explain without prompting? Because I've seen people get angry about "spoiling" the fight because they wanted to try it blind.

I hate how 'vets' expect new players to research a boss before fighting it.

If it makes them so mad why can't the 'vets' just explain the 1-shots before the boss?

I wouldn't complain to much about ones not waiting for ones to finish cutscenes or they will make it where can't skip any of them and force you to watch them every time.

When I was new people actually got upset with me for watching videos and I'd get insulted over it. "Can't believe you needed to watch a guide for such a simple boss," or "you're ruining the experience, just go in blind."


Anyways, on topic, I always do a ready check before the cutscenes happen in raids. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

the general rule is if it's like 4+ people sure lettem watch the cutscenes and wait but if only like 1 or 2 people are watching it? just lettem watch it and pull they lose what like 1 minute of the fight? and for those going "oh but they'll miss one minute of the fight". it's almost as if they can just reque for it (which for newer raids most people would especially if they didn't get the pieces they were after) or or and hear me out here it's almost as if we have a daily roulette for it that does have the chance of giving them the raid. 1/24 of a raid does not get to put the stalls on the entire AR thats final. or else we'd all be waiting when one person says "BRB need a drink of water" cause it's absolutely vital that one person gets his drink of water before we pull and he's back before the boss is even at half/three quarters health anyways at best

AR roulette has it's own issues but this isn't the place for that

i am with u op. it really shows the quality of some ppl. however at this stage it cant be resolved.
I am from elemental and most of the time ppl will wait or do a ready check to see if someone is new and want to watch cutscenes.
