Inns, rested bonus and food exp+% appreciation thread

Ya know what? I've never felt compelled to post one of these SE appreciation threads, but the rested bonus from Inns has done it for me.

Personally I hate exping. I was there when exping did mad exp and you could just AOE everything and get all your classes to 50 in a fly, and I chose not to. I only have one rank 50 class. That's how much I loathe exping.

But now I just park my character in the Inn, and when the bonus covers at least the rest of my level I go out, recruit a party, eat a cookie for that +3% (plus the full party bonus) and do my grinding until the bonus runs out.

I still think grinding is boring as hell, and I'm really not going to get into that right now, I just wanted to say thanks for making it more bearable.

Its kind of cool if you think about it. They were able to make you burn through exping quicker, without having to lower the exp curve again. And they get to set the phase at which you level by linking this to the amount of time you're resting.

So yeah, really SE, great job. Did not see it coming.

All of these bonuses, PLUS the quality bonus, have made synthing pretty bearable now.

I love the rested EXP but it's so hard for me to log out in the inn sometimes
It's not that I'm too lazy to walk to my room,
It's that I'm in the middle of somethings and I log out
And also the inn npc takes a secon to load since the guild is so packed so it's even more wait before I can log.

My question is...

Will we see rested EXP gained while staying somewhere such as a hamlet?
After all we are adventureers so I doubt we will make it home most nights to our inn room.

Personally I think that Crafting should be allowed in inn rooms.
While I understand that they probably made it unavailable to stop people from abusing the rested bonus while crafting, sometimes I wish i could sit and craft without using my rested bonus, as I'm trying to save it for when a friend is online who I duo with.

I think it would be great if SE made it possible to retire to your inn room to craft in private without using up your rested bonus so that you could save if for use with another job later.

How? How in anyway possible did they not let you do anything in an inn, because of botting?

Botting happens regardless. They could make it so you can ONLY craft if you stand on a pedestal and botting would still happen lol

Also I agree, be nice to switch off the rested usage, it is annoying.

Also while 3% was always there, no one knew, so it may as well wasnt there before as it wasnt something people actively was aware of and took part in unless someone was watching their %+ EXP numbers often, plus on 1000 EXP its only 30 EXP more lol its nothing drastic.
