Inns, rested bonus and food exp+% appreciation thread

Personally I think that Crafting should be allowed in inn rooms.
While I understand that they probably made it unavailable to stop people from abusing the rested bonus while crafting, sometimes I wish i could sit and craft without using my rested bonus, as I'm trying to save it for when a friend is online who I duo with.

I think it would be great if SE made it possible to retire to your inn room to craft in private without using up your rested bonus so that you could save if for use with another job later.

How? How in anyway possible did they not let you do anything in an inn, because of botting?

Botting happens regardless. They could make it so you can ONLY craft if you stand on a pedestal and botting would still happen lol

Also I agree, be nice to switch off the rested usage, it is annoying.

Also while 3% was always there, no one knew, so it may as well wasnt there before as it wasnt something people actively was aware of and took part in unless someone was watching their %+ EXP numbers often, plus on 1000 EXP its only 30 EXP more lol its nothing drastic.

True. I only found out about the +3% bonus recently. But I agree, it doesn't make much of a difference.
I prefer rested bonus over the exp bands from FFXI, as there were a good few occasions that I didn't get the full benefit of the band due to parties being unsuccessful or having to replace members and the exp bonus timing out. So it's nice that rested bonus is just up to a certain amount of bonus exp and doesn't have a time limit. But it's a shame you can't choose when to use it like you could with exp bands.

While I am extremely pleased with the rested EXP, the changes to crafting EXP and what I thought was the changes to food EXP, I got really angry when I read that food always gave an EXP bonus. I have NEVER used food because it didn't seem to give this kind of bonus.

While it is true that it only amounts to 30 out of 1000, I have accumulated over 14 million EXP and 3% of that is 420.000, i.e more than 4 classes taken from 49 to 50.
