Housing is broken, but why not until SE address it properly?

It's a start that will keep a roof over your head and let you put out some some of your clogged retainer stuff, while you grind out your progression.

Well that would be fantastic if whole housing districts weren't completely sold out of apartments on my server. You cannot get one if you want to live in the Glade or Shirogane here, I imagine Mist is the same situation. Doubtless there are plenty left over in the despised Goblet and Ishgard apartments will eventually run out as well. This situation is going nowhere fast.

Hey, I am on your side. However, this is a little bit precious. Make a start, and salve some of the hurt, empty your retainers a bit, and we will all keep pushing SE to make this situation better.

Hopped on my Spriggan alt, picked Lavender Beds ward 17 at random and went to the Lily Hills subdivision apartment building. Only 27 of 90 apartments are occupied.

Went to the main ward as well just for giggles - only 40 out of 90 occupied.

There you go - two Glade apartment building waiting to help you. You're welcome.



Yes, the house situation is terrible. Few players like how it is. The housing situation in general is not. If people are going to talk about housing, not houses, they can't arbitrarily dismiss apartments.

Apartments are part of the housing system, If you complain about lack of housing when there is clearly housing available, it's easy for SE to dismiss player complaints as unwarranted and dramatic.

Let's focus on houses in that case.
