    So am I to understand that, the person some are claiming to be of sound mind to be grown up enough in the moment, would also throw a tantrum because he found out he was going to do some bad things? He could have also CHOSE to not overreact and remain calm to find out why all of it would have happened. He could have also VOWED to simply try NOT to do that, again giving credit to the maturity some are claiming he possesses if he would have heard any of the events from Venat, which means he would actually have to believe WoL/Venat to begin with.

    Remember his memory is also wiped, so he doesn't even know what he's going to become down the road. Elpis Emet at this point is already absorbed with his duty as a member of the Convocation to such a degree that the news would have absolutely leaked immediately (at least among the Convocation) which very likely would have alerted Hermes who could have potentially caused more issues.

    Saying that Emet would have calmly handled the situation when the only literal context we have of him in game is an immediate and quite rebuking response when he hears the truth, is fallacy.
