Varis zos Galvus & Regula van Hydrus. We could’ve seen more of them in future expansions but they’ve been killed off too early.
If only we had a Garlemald expansion.

Petition to have the Garlean gunblade & armour added in the game:

Mikoto Jinba & Lilja Sjasaris. Why are we not seeing them—especially the former—at all in Endwalker?
Ejika Tsunjika. Considering they did have somebody from the -optional- BSF questline making appearance, I wonder why he’s not included.
Vonard & Theyler. Full glad I am they’re included in the most recent Hildi quest, but I’d like to see them more.
Yugiri Mistwalker. I’m very sad she stayed by Hien’s side((
Currently replaying the story via NG+… I might change my mind though.
I find that Ysayle and Minfilia are underappreciated even by people who like them lol. Wilred is a bigger one for me, though -- his subplot was not a big focus but it really tore me up. Miss my son.
Imo, Lyse exposes a lot of skippers.
I dunno how anyone who actually played the MSQ and paid attention can think she didn't grow.
I get the writing in the SB MSQ wasn't on par with the other expansions really, but it got way better in the post MSQ.
Characters being flawed is also kinda necessary for them to grow, I don't see people holding Alphinaud to ARR still.
Even if one was disappointed with the Yda to Lyse reveal too it's a bit silly to hold that against the character forever.
Yeah Ysayle was a fantastic character, and Minfillia became the scapegoat of peoples annoyances with fetch quests.
I also liked that she wasn't a combatant, it's basically a trope that the leader is a fighter and always out on the frontlines it's just silly tho the moment you think about it at all ( also no one rly hates Tataru for this ).
Minfillia was more of an administrator and something tying the Scions together, it wasn't her job to be in the field and it'd just be an unnecessary risk.
I kinda liked that it felt less tropey to me.
She was also the victim of ARR not being as good as the expansions too, overall I think while I disagree with the reasons they killed her off ( because of complainers based on what I heard ).
I think the end result was good I did like her role and how it lead into Ryne too.

The old man in the cart. The one time we get to see him again it's his alternate world version and he gets eaten by a monster. I miss you old man in the cart.![]()
Riol for sure
Someone who also loves Wilred? (And Ysayle and Minfilia) Be still my heart. I deeply appreciate that SB remembered him and his friends and I love that since a key element to Ala Mhigo's economy was exporting mercenaries there was a dedicated memorial for them.
I do love that the various holiday quests will bring back the three Adventurers' Guild leaders, so no matter how far into the MSQ you are, even four expansions later there's an incentive to have the WoL check in with the first person (minus the merchant triplets, and I do hope they return again sometime and having the doppelganger open ShB was fantastic) who welcomed and supported them.
If I think of a character no one even remembers but that I LOVED, that was Isse from Stormblood. He was a good representation of some of the things war does to people, and I really liked the way he was portrayed.

Regula. He was elegant and I loved his english voice, Heavensward went a bit trigger happy with deaths, he did not deserve dying from a side quest damn it
F'lhaminn. She needs more love and attention. I also want to see Thancred act stupid around her again, lol!
