I've seen a few people mention the Frontlines Roulette, but lately it seems to say more then 30 min que time.

Is there a good time block to que for this one so I can start doing it again? I'm on American EST zone.

Plus it's been awhile since I've done it, is it good exp?

It's good xp for sure, it's worth queuing up and finding something else to do while you wait (Hunts, Tribe Quests, FATEs, Quests, etc).

Reason why it isn't played as much is because people like CC better and (more importantly) the new PvP changes have made Frontlines horribly unbalanced. SMNs are everywhere

So you only have to do expert for 7 days, main scenario for 7 days and alliance raids for 3 days to get your cap. While I am more than capable in doing these type of content on different characters. It would be nice to do level 50 content on an alt and get these rewards.
If you're talking about the tomestone cap being doubled, going from 450 to 900, that only happens during one of the very last minor patches. Specifically the x.57 or x.58 ones. So no, you wouldn't have to worry about having to run expert/MSQ roulette for 7 days, Alliance roulette for 3 days just to cap your weekly tomestones.

    This sums it up nicely.

The thread title is a bit deceptive because OP admits that roulettes are useful for both your max level jobs and your non-max level jobs. OP simply wants the benefits of both at the same time, which is actually a bit debatable?

I believe in a bit of give and take, that you probably shouldn't be able to gain end game tomes for rouletting a job that's not endgame. That doesn't make sense and it feels a bit overwhelming.

But FFXIV is also one of the least demanding games out there and this definitely feels a little bit in line with the idea of reducing daily grind.

Personally I only ever run expert. If I could get tomes and exp on an alt I'd more than likely happily queue into the other roulettes. I don't really see the negative in giving both rewards after reaching max level with one job considering level sync is a thing so its not like playing your main in those roulettes has any meaning to them.

    Exactly this!

I also only did expert in the beginning... Until I decided I want to test out different classes. A lot of classes really come to life at max level. So I want to level them. Only to find out roulettes don't give both rewards... Why? How nice it would be to bring your level 80 alt to level 90, by the time you get there you have gathered enough tomestones to get your gear set. Now I have to make a choice, do I level an alt job, or do I go for tomestones? While I could level a tank or healer job for faster queue times helping out the community aswel. But nope, the alt is stuck in Bozja mob tagging in 10 second fates for 330k xp/fate because I needed the tomestones.
