Had some questions

How does this system work? I saw some guides but the NPCs aren't there anymore so I would assume it's not possible anymore. (I researched and found out it was a Shadowbringers thing and I had kept it to do as soon as I'm done with the story (now)).

What I dont get is: If its not available anymore, why is there still the achievements to earn? because they are not earnable anymore (And I think thats very unsatisfying, due to not beeing able to theoreticaly get all achievements)

or did I missed out something and its still available?

The restored area is in the game. There's a permanent festival running and several questlines, two custom delivery NPCs, etc.

The progress thing was removed, the result is still playable. Are you maybe not high enough in the MSQ to unlock it? It unlocks some time after finishing HW.

I already finished 6.0 so it's probably me just not finding the according Quest/NPC because I already unlocked it but didn't played it.

If you TP into the Ishgard Aetheryte, right next to you when you arrive is a poster stuck to the stone wall with a blue quest that unlocks the "Foundation" area.

If you have done that quest for a few steps, accessing Foundation is an option on the Aetheryte.

Inside there will be more quests to access the crafting and gathering parts.

Let me add that only the materials for Expert recipes phase 2 and 3 plus all phase 4 materials are still available on crafting nodes. If using Firmament to level crafting, you want to focus on the Restoration (4) recipes.
