My thoughts, really. The pet responsivity might have got a little better with EW, but still I think the game's code has no room for an actual pet job - with micromanaging a second entity all the time, as opposed to have it just be part of action animations... That's exactly why I think a Beastmaster or Puppeteer jobs can't make the cut without being part of an alternative gameplay (limited job?).

Scholar can get away with it because the fairy's actions is just a part of the whole kit, and even to this day I find the delayed actions a bit clunky to use and still with (albeit less than before) potential to ghost.
