Would you like to see a LFG icon besides the player name?

I think that seeing people with a LFG icon would encourage people to use the search function. Plus sometimes you wait outside cutter's cry for example waiting for a party, and showing a lfg icon as XI had is more comfortable than having to shout it out every ten seconds to let people know you are up for grabs.

Yes, definitely.

Right now the search function is this vague thing in the background. People should be able to tell if the person next to them is looking for a party just by glancing at them. It would be an intuitive way to draw attention to the search function.

I dont quite know where it was posted, but as far as I know, this will be implemented in 2.0.
The lfg system we already have is just a temporary solution 'till then.

But I also agree with this, at this point, the LFG system isnt used that much and should get more attention in some ways.

Besaid must be an odd place then, because we seem to use the search function constantly... The only problem I've noticed is people who are LFG don't actually respond to /ts.

Or perhaps some sort of menu to select a quest you're waiting to do that shows you all other players that have tagged that quest, and perhaps a way to group chat within the 'waiting room'? And maybe you could continue doing other things while you're waiting and the game would indicate to you via a display how many people are waiting for a group on that quest? And a way to form parties right out that menu? And a way to teleport to the location of a given party member to speed up the process?


And as long as I am fantasising I want a pony.
