Imagine having long and short hairstyles that can actually look good on a male character, specially hyur.
Yes, I can't see it happening unfortunately.

its mainly race and style dependent
like Great lengths looks good on my au ra but when that comes to Viera 100% expecting my forehead to have the ability to show advertising on it
I am mostly disappointed about the neo-ishgard lv 80 sets for males. The female ones are fancy and look really like something new meanwhile the male ones don't even look like they are supposed to be the same set and remind of older gear designs we already have. Not that I want a dress for males, but I expected it to look just as fancy as the female version.

The thing with Hrothgars is that they have better proportions, though I'm not sure if "better" is a correct word here. They're just more human-like (as ironic as it is for a beast-looking race). Their default idle stance might make some glamours look weird, but as soon as you make them stand straight (with /lean or any of their idle stances) they look pretty good in probably majority of what you'd wear on them.
With Roe (especially male) what destroys a lot of clothes for them is their lack of slim waist (or, rather, the fact the most glamour options are centered around having one). Their figure isn't nececcarily bad (I find it okay honestly), it's just that the gear designers should remember that Roe are unique in this regard and pay their clothes a bit more attention, which... they apparently don't most of the time. (Same applies for Lalafells with some sets, though generally they look okay in most things).

That's it. It feels like..., they put much more love in the female designes. And I am somehow sad, that with 6.15 there seems to be no adjustment for Thancred hairstyle for Viera boys. Our girls got Lyse and we still just can make this face: ò.óI am mostly disappointed about the neo-ishgard lv 80 sets for males. I mean, cmon.... :/
It's the ONLY male hairstyle in the shop. Can't be that hard to adjust this one for the boys or make Lyse's one unisex.

I like both, full male chest piece looks great but it is tiresome having this constant drastic variations on gender gear.I am mostly disappointed about the neo-ishgard lv 80 sets for males. When the last Nier raid dropped, i was just exhausted from looking the aiming/striking/scouting stuff. Stuff that i wanted went to male so it was just just bleh.
So in the end, no one wins for me.

I've seen so many people who love the male Neo-Ishgardian gear. Wishing they could use it on female characters, even.
I think it's one of the few things that looks good on all of my characters. My only disappointment is that the tank coat is completely different to the main steampunk style and should have been a ruffled shirt to match the dress. Though I notice that it was used as the "Garlean Beastmaster uniform" in Bozja and I guess they needed the coat style for that.
Neo-Ishgardian was literally the first time I liked fending gear, they should do this more often.

The KEY difference here is that what you're calling 'male' outfits here can still be equipped and worn by female characters, while the ones the OP complained about cannot be equipped by male characters at all.
Whether you subjectively like the aesthetic or not isn't relevant, you still have the option to use those items.
Male characters have objectively fewer items that they can use. This isn't up for debate, SE themselves have admitted it and taken steps to start fixing the problem by (slowly) removing gender locks on existing gear.
Unfortunately, no mogstation gear has been included in those unlocks as of yet, and people playing male characters understandably would like to know if and when that will change.
And if we get Estinien's hairstyle it'll either be unisex or players with female characters will make a fuss until it gets made unisex, again.
