The Porta Decumana, new main story trial. Easy peasy you say. Ha! Problems started from the very begining.
First, tank forgot their stance. Nothing new and not a big deal in comparison, mentioning just for the record.
Titan does big boom then line aoes, puddles... you know. Then the second boom (still Titan). Then the third... I started to suspect something wrong. Everyone say "ACT this, ACT that...". And you know what? You don't need third-party tools too see when someone slacks. Looked at the party window. Bard - 80+lvl, blm - 80+lvl, pld... actually don't remember, but anyway they at least tried. Blm though ~ blizzard 3 - fire 3 - blizzard 3 - fire 3 - blAAAAARGH!! I don't know, how bard performed, but I highly doubt if they really tried things wouldn't be so bad.
Ok, we finished first phase. Hurray, i guess? *harold_hide_the_pain.jpg*
Second phase. Suddenly group forgot they have move-buttons. Big green laser? Nah. Stack marker? Well, stack with your fairy. Radial explosions? Moving for losers. In addition to that bard began to show suicidal tendencies. If they by any miracle stand in a safe spot, they suddenly start running exactly to their doom.
My Aetherflaw was on constant cd. My fairy hated me. My mana was drained. I was drained. My eye twitched like it was signaling with sos in morse code.
Finally, an Ultima attack. Did you ever wipe on it due to lack of damage? We barely, barely avoided it. I believe it was less than a second before explosion.

It still goes faster if everybody is alive and presses the big damage buttons.

Back in the before-times, when Praetorium was still the old cutscene-heavy form, I remember a group where we had two AFKers at the beginning who got called out and laughed it off as it just being Praetorium, who cared? So the other six folks decided, y'know, that's fair... and all decided to sit down and AFK as well.

The two back at the beginning lost their entire minds, screaming frothing profanity about how they didn't want to be stuck in Praetorium until the duty timer ran out just because other people didn't want to do anything.

It was like "lack of self-awareness as a performance art".

Apparently, it's possible to get Seat of Sacrifice with two new tanks (nobody else was new). Even with thorough instructions, it amounted to about 25 minutes of poorly-timed LBs (and a teleport wipe) before disbanding.

It's also possible to get The Final Day with one new tank and another that says "I'm busy noob" when the LB comes up. Certainly a pointless wipe, but the new tank was a good sport and nailed it the second time.

Isn't Seat of Sacrifice the first story instance that has that mechanic? I know it happens in A12, but since that's side content I can't really say it shocks me that people would mess up the timing of that(though A12 is easier to time from the countdown....SoS you need to actually time it yourself or have someone in the party shout NOW!)

Got stuck in regular Tam-Tara last night with a tank who didn't have his stance on. It's an easy thing to forget if you get synched down though so I mentioned it to him as a reminder. He didn't respond at all and didn't turn it on. After a few pulls though I noticed that he finally did turn it on but then turned it back off again. And then kept turning it on and then off throughout the rest of the dungeon.

The only thing I can figure is that for some bizarre reason he thought it was part of his rotation and that's why he kept pushing it. Or maybe he was just doing a weird troll, I dunno. He never did respond to either me or the healer when we asked him to leave it on.

This weeks P1-4S was pretty clean except for the first group that collapsed in P1S.
People were standing in the wrong spot all the time on the shackles.

I actually think that I ended up getting kicked rofl, even tho I didn't do anything wrong.
On the attempt before that I got red 18, so I went to my spot.
Then someone else went to my spot and they didn't move they just stood there ( this same person followed me sometimes on a bunch of mechanics, I think they didn't know what to do and were just following random ppl but I am unsure ).
So I saw that red 3 and 13 were both empty, and I decided to try and adjust because the other person who was on my spot just refused to move and I went to red 3's spot.
I had no clue whether the person who took my spot was meant to be on 3 or 13 I just had to guess.
Right when I arrived on red 3's spot someone else got there, no clue if they were the real red 3 or yet another person who went wrong but wtf how am I supposed to know so I start running trying to get to red 13's spot in time and don't make it too much time wasted people just didn't move right away there was a ton of afk:ing in middle every time the shackles happened.

Everyone is all like wtf cmon again.
And I say '' sry some1 was on my spot I had to adjust but didn't make it ''.

Should of just established dominance and stood on top of the person that took your spot tbh.

Doing Sastasha for the MSQ for the first time on my alt, who's a tank. I don't know if these people were in a group together or if I just got really unlucky. DRG decides he's going to tank, so not a single pull went the way I wanted it to with him running ahead and attacking everything. (No, I was not going slow, I've tanked Sastasha numerous times on my main.)

I'm hearing heals in the background, but it's not translating to my HP bar and I'm confused because a Cure I should be a decent chunk of health at that level. I end up having to put potions on my bar because even using mitigation I'm coming uncomfortably close to dying and simply do not appear to be getting heals. I finally start paying attention to the heal amount when I do get them and it's for... 34 HP. Um. I inspect the healer, who is in the maid's outfit. Not glammed. The maid's outfit is the healer's gear. *sigh* Well, this explains a lot.

DRG manages to almost get the group killed because I go in one direction and he goes in another, the group follows him for whatever reason and the healer can't keep the DPS up with her 34 HP Cure I. I manage to solo kill my group and rush over to save them (not that I felt they deserved it at this point).

We muddy through the rest of the dungeon and I'm reminded (again) that even the easiest content can be made miserable by other players. Made me wish I'd just gone in with Duty Support, but I thought Sastasha would be a quick and easy run. Had I been a new, inexperienced player I'd have died and/or the group would've wiped numerous times. They had no way of knowing that was an alt, so it kind of ticked me off that they considered this okay for a potentially new player's first dungeon run.

True lol, I was just tired of wiping and it was already over if I had stayed too so better to try and do something.
I guess the leader would rather I had just done nothing.
