Maybe. But the problems with causal loops in EW are so obvious, that i wonder how they made it into the game. Did the story writers really overlook them? I can hardly imagine that.

More than likely the people after the sundering, and or Vanet herself. They never answered however the world used to be called Ethyris, then it became known as Hydaelyn after the summoning. You could say the same for Zodriak, it was more than likely herself, and she has interacted with people making her will known and probably told them. Doesn't break the time travel. Is that your only argument for how it's "broken" when it took me 5 seconds to give a plausible answer.
