    • Allow us to chat with our team
    • Give additional series XP for in-game contributions to the team, e.g. moving the crystal, time spent moving the crystal, capturing points, kills, assists, healing people if playing a healer role.
    • Award class XP comparable to completing a level-relevant dungeon upon completing rounds of frontline. Divide XP gain accordingly for CC

    And of course this goes without saying, tweaking Blackmage, Ninja and Dragoon so other classes can play the game as well.

    Tertiary fix. The character portraits are completely broken. Changing gear, even if you re-glam your appearance, breaks the plate you use with your character. This is annoying, and makes me want to just ignore the system altogether needing to constantly make sure everting is set so it shows correctly.

    No. And anyone that says they do either plays one of the broken jobs or is a casual at actual PVP games. There is zero proper match matching, you can't expect me to win not once, not twice, but three times in a row with a random team each time at vastly different skill levels with zero ability to properly communicate. Also many jobs are broken and the damage dealt outside of those broken jobs is next to nothing given all the self heals and shields. I was chasing a Machinist around hitting them with every attack I have and couldn't kill them. They ran around shielding, self healing, and when I did get them close enough the rest of their team showed up and one-shot me. I was a reaper btw, That ain't right. If I hit them melee range with at least half of my stuff they should be dead.

    Seems pretty fun to me, getting 5x limit breake in Frontlines by groups that coordinate is a little rough though. Wonder if they may consider adding limit break resistance, such that you can't get 1 shot in .5 seconds.

    Honestly my biggest gripe otherwise I'm always having fun. Stun resistance might be another thing. Both resistance could be short lived, and perhaps even deteriorating in style.

    I'm having fun with frontline and the xp is pretty good. I run it daily on my main and a number of my alts. Got the hair Fashionably Feathered for 18,000 Wolf Marks for my Viera and looking at some gear that i might wanna get as well.

    PvP is fun! Best choice the dev team made with it was through all caution to the win and just going ham on making all the Jobs unique and powerful without the need for the Trinity system.

    I hope one day the devs can do something similar to PvE, while keeping the Trinity system intact.

    I prefer playing PvP as a Summoner, but I'm looking forward to trying out Dragoon and Ninja more than I already have, which is only a little here and there so far.

    Huge numbers of players play CC and no one played PVP before CC; your opinion whilst valid in your own eyes is clearly not shared by the VAST majority of the playerbase. Also, there have been discussions from Yoshi-p regarding a number of the points you raised and why they moved away from those decisions, they aren't going to track back on them seeing as their changes have been successful.

    It's a team game, unless you are play something like RDM who is dedicated duelist Job you need to work with others to secure kills. RPR is spesifically bad at soloing things until he has built up stacks which take forever, then he has one of the biggest bursts in the game.

    As for winning games, the matchmaking maybe janky but easily overcome by skill in lower brackets. It's tuned heavily in favor of player due existance of winstreaks, I got to Crystal playing non-meta Jobs like SCH and BRD in something like 70 wins and on this character:

    A lot of people complain about being stuck in Bronze or Silver but even though those ranks are volatile (and required the most extra wins on this climb) they are more likely to climb than not if they retain 50% or even less winrate. Usually the issue is in the user if they are still stuck after 50+ games, most commonly in common misconceptions about target priority and such.

    The only seriously broken Job right now is BLM which pushes a lot of melee out of meta when it's not the Volcano map. WHM and friends are still maybe bit overtuned but much more tolerable than their initial iteration.

    Jobs like GNB, DNC, RPR and maybe few more to lesser extent still need buffs and tweaks to bring them in line with the rest, but so far people have climbed to Crystal with all Jobs.

    Biggest issue aside from BLM right now is the way server ticks can mess up a match. Sometimes you get instantly CC'd after breaking one with Purify since the counter buff hadn't applied it self fast enough or getting your Guard on CD and not getting the damage reduced from few hits in.

    What I would like to see is slight tuning down of CC and top-end damage from some skills while adding some potency to the baseline filler attacks as half of them barely tickel (melee combo part 1 being 3000, SMN Ruin being 4000 etc. is kinda pathetic).

    I do enjoy the new mode. Especially with the new reward system. Winning only gives you 200 more experience points so losing does not feel that horrible. (I am not doing ranked matches)
    I also like how fast these rounds are and just wish that overtime would be gone in the non ranked modus or at least only happen when no side got far with their crystals.

    Looking forward to the next season and to the possibility that I still might get the 200 win mount one day.

    despite the jobs glaring inbalances in pvp, i overall enjoy pvp.
    i wish CC would have a roulette of its own or part of frontline roulettes so it can be more daily rewarding and more occasional.
