No balance, no class balance. As of 6.1 everyone has this annoying self-heal and invul shield. Fights feel like wet noodle fights where nobody dies until the team focuses you and you die instantly.

The worst part is they could make it great by simply emulating the established metas of current PvP games. (They already stole a game mode from Teamfortress)
  • Force team synergy with matchmaking. No more teams with 3 healers vs a team with no healers
  • Take self heal away from everyone. Only healers should be able to self-heal.
  • Guard shield on a longer cooldown. Such a powerful panic button shouldn't be always up.
  • Only tanks get guard
  • Allow us to chat with our team
  • Give additional series XP for in-game contributions to the team, e.g. moving the crystal, time spent moving the crystal, capturing points, kills, assists, healing people if playing a healer role.
  • Award class XP comparable to completing a level-relevant dungeon upon completing rounds of frontline. Divide XP gain accordingly for CC

And of course this goes without saying, tweaking Blackmage, Ninja and Dragoon so other classes can play the game as well.

Tertiary fix. The character portraits are completely broken. Changing gear, even if you re-glam your appearance, breaks the plate you use with your character. This is annoying, and makes me want to just ignore the system altogether needing to constantly make sure everting is set so it shows correctly.

No. And anyone that says they do either plays one of the broken jobs or is a casual at actual PVP games. There is zero proper match matching, you can't expect me to win not once, not twice, but three times in a row with a random team each time at vastly different skill levels with zero ability to properly communicate. Also many jobs are broken and the damage dealt outside of those broken jobs is next to nothing given all the self heals and shields. I was chasing a Machinist around hitting them with every attack I have and couldn't kill them. They ran around shielding, self healing, and when I did get them close enough the rest of their team showed up and one-shot me. I was a reaper btw, That ain't right. If I hit them melee range with at least half of my stuff they should be dead.
