New hrothgar hairstyles are really bad.

Pretty sad when the Modders can do it without issues but a multi-million dollar can't. I will just leave it at that. So yeah, Ummmm...

Normally the counter argument is that modders do it in their spare time while the devs work on a schedule and have a mountain of projects to deal with, which, tho be fair, is true....but when modders can fix things in mere hours what the devs still can't after 3 years, I really can't help but question if it's actually about lack of time/resources, or Hrothgar just being the lowest priority, even below parasols.

it was basically done an hour or two after the patch came out before the bloody servers were even brought online. absolutely bloody absurd.

Some of them even stream themselves doing these mods. Some are a metadata switch, others need a bit more attention, but regardless they do their best for a job that no one pays.

But to add useless stuff, the dev team is far too quick to jump the gun.

I understand the whole housing thing is a huge issue right now, but would it be so hard for someone from the Dev team to address the Hroth/Viera hair issues? They've had a lot time to have someone look into it. Those hairstyles should've never been released as is and they definitely knew it looked bad

On one hand, they immediately called out and forced a correction of the original male Viera posture, yet they refuse to accept long hair because of clipping, and somehow decided that earless Hrothgars were ok? Where is the logic?

There is no logic. There's just "what can we throw at the wall and see what sticks so we can work on something else?" now.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was to test to see if we cared or not about the ears and if we didn't, they could've just removed them all and then give us hats and act like they did us a big favour porting them.
