How can some people write so many words and yet say absolutely nothing?
How can some people write so many words and yet say absolutely nothing?
I have no interest at all in making up things about you nor do I intend to encourage you any further in your self- delusional ranting as it doesn't add anything constructive to this thread.Your statement that SE needs you. They don't. Not your posts, not your subscription, not you; you're not that special.
Because while every game maker likes to have players and fans, they don't necessarily want presumptuous possessive fanatics who think they know how the game should operate better than the people who have been making it for years. So beyond not needing you, they may not even want you. You may even annoy them, if they bother to notice you at all.
Oh, but you're giving productive feedback, you'll say. No, you and your ilk are just whining, and there's a difference. A difference that your arrogance makes you blind to.
The rest of your strawmen arguments only merit this reply: the fact that you feel it necessary to make things up to attribute to me merely demonstrates your inability to refute what I actually wrote.
So, it's not balance, or playability, it's just that you are bored?
Sorry, I don't want SE mucking with classes I like to play just because you and your ilk are bored.
Please just go unsubscribe until the next content release, as Yoshida-san mentioned, and leave the rest of us in peace.
Yeah, there's a constructive contribution to the thread -- NOT.
You had to respond, but you couldn't respond to what I wrote; I wonder if you even know what a strawman argument is.
But, compelled to post, you just post insults and blather about what you weren't going to do, and nothing on topic at all. Was it worth it to you? Are you proud of what you've done?
That 1 button healer spam "gameplay" has got you having so much fun you're spending your time on the forums arguing instead of enjoying it lmaoSo, it's not balance, or playability, it's just that you are bored?

I enjoy a diverse range of activities.
I'm currently waiting for my spouse and our friend to catch up with me on the MSQ so we can do the next dungeon together, standing in Hawker's alley and working on my glam as I write this - one of the joys of having 5 large 4K/QHD monitors hooked to the two GPUs in my system. My spouse and I are on our fourth characters running through the MSQ, and this time we're taking it slow and relaxed.
Edit to add: I'm also eating mint chocolate chip ice cream.

Anyway back on topic. I feel that most people can agree that healer gameplay is rather stale. The reason for this is pretty simple, the vast majority of content doesn't require to use even a fraction of the bloated healing kit we have. Especially not any of the more casual stuff you'll be doing on the day to day. So you end up nonstop spamming your two dps spells, snooze.
I've said it before but there are two reasonable methods to fix:
Increase healing requirements of content so you actually get to use the full healing kit.
Add more to the DPS kit so it's less of a total snooze when you are not healing (aka, like 90% of the time you are playing the job)
Thank you for volunteering up that information, but I did not ask.I enjoy a diverse range of activities.

If... the healer is overhauled and become harder to play, then say goodbye to the duty roulette because no one will play this role and the newcomer will afraid to play and try the role.
This state of Healer is fine, just need a little buff and it's ok
Having a couple of extra dps buttons does not mean the role will be harder. New players can just... ignore the dps buttons. Which most new healers already do anyway.
