    Been requested before but thought to ask again given the recent events and the issue just popped up for me:

    Highlighting skills that you haven't assigned to your hotbar, that are hotbar assignable. A major example is new expansions, but it can happen with new patches too. Helpful so you can be sure you didn't goof horribly and not add all the new skills.

    ok a couple id add to the list

    *a gathering reagents tab like WoW or SWTOR have. you collect/gather item it goes in to the tab with stacks of 999 (or whatever the number is)
    this would cure alot of issues when you go out to gather/harvest and just keep the collectables/maps in your inventory cause they are more important.

    * make old relic gear say up to the previous expac be able to go in the armoire (like the relic gear from EW be able to be put in it including the weapons).
    there is no real reason why this cant happen cause it was fine for the level 45-50 relic gear, so why not the rest. and yes i remeber issues of why this couldnt happen but nothing that wasnt under the spagetti code thing.

    Oooh, thanks for bringing this thread to light! Here's my wishlist:


    • Configurable mouseover skill actions for anything that can be placed on the floor or used on a party member
    • Title of the song currently playing, including inside housing (could just put it in the same spot where we have the time, world, etc)
    • Current ping/connection status (could just put it in the same spot where we have the time, world, etc)
    • Ability to move each HUD element on the grid using the keyboard for easier alignment
    • Ability to choose parts of the HUD to be hidden unless you are in combat/in a duty (job gauge, skill bars, etc) or to hide during combat/duty (random emote hotbars, quest list, etc)
    • Perhaps not related to the HUD itself, but please just add all caps emotes as valid emotes... /hug and /HUG should be the same thing, yet it isn't.

    Things I'd like:
    • An in game stopwatch whose HUD element can be controlled with a macro to start and stop. (Third party programs use this to track 2 minute bursts)
    • The ability to hard lock all active windows on the UI. It has been added to certain windows like the Recipe Tree and PotD duty info - I want it on all windows possible.**
    • More lines on crafting macros for the love of all that is holy. 15 lines is too limiting for level 100 recipes. This could even be a reward for when you hit 100 on all crafters.
    • The ability to export the text on an action or role item to the chat log in /echo - mousing over these is annoying when trying to figure out what stuff does. I noticed this most keenly on Oracle in OC.
    • Someplace in the in game documentaiton, a list of all available macro commands. There isn't a central place as far as I know. Even my 9 man software shop IRL maintains this list in our system using Swagger.
    • A local scratch Notepad like text scratch pad for jotting down notes, that can store and import more text as a BLOB than the macros. (4000+ raw text characters.) You know what is the most common "third party program" I use as a PC player? Windows Notepad. Raid plans? Notepad. Crafting lists? Notepad. This is RAW TEXT. Let me store and save it locally, like UI data, and maybe share it with other players via a Mogmail attachment. And copy and paste from outside sources, like my Windows Notepad. Could even allow import and export features of .TXT files on PS5 and Xbox that way. Unlike a macro, this wouldn't need to live server side or be updated when characters change data centers. It's just local system settings data, like the config file. Maybe 5-10 slots for this scratch pad.

      UNLIKE A MACRO - this wouldn't interact with the chat system or any of the UI elements directly. It'd just load as a block of text. For safety reasons, sanitize the data in storage (strip out any special characters not being used to store text, including all formatting. This is database text storage 101, y'all already do it on the Config file, I'm sure.)

    This is an excellent idea! When my team was trying to figure out why we were struggling with DPS checks back in E8S, I discovered I was missing an action on SMN on my hotbars that was costing us a wee bit of burst damage. It wasn't the only problem with us failing the DPS check (damage downs and DPS losses due to deaths were the real culprit) but every little bit helps in Savage, and it was quite embarrassing.

    ** I am well aware that any menu that polls against additional tables, such as retainers or NPC accessible menus, would not be possible. I am talking about the locally accessible windows on the client, like my Botany item list or the Fish log, that do not communicate with the server unless something has changed on the character.

    It's crazy that the in-game pull timer doesn't show each second, or break it down into tenths of a second.

    Also their font for raid markers are just insane. The amount of time people call out "Point G" when they mean "4" is egregious.
